In Minneapolis, newly released video shows the perspective of an ICE agent during the fatal shooting of Renee Good, with Minnesota's Attorney General requesting public assistance in gathering evidence. 

A day later, another shooting occurred in Portland during a traffic stop targeting individuals allegedly connected to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. The Department of Homeland Security stated the driver tried to run over agents, prompting a response. The incidents have sparked protests and increased scrutiny of ICE's presence in Portland, with local police citing challenges due to rising distrust in law enforcement.

Tony, good evening. The circumstances behind that shooting here in Portland remain murky. What is clear is that this is a city on edge. Police telling us they have deployed additional resources. That, as you mentioned, that new video out of Minneapolis, reposted by the White House, showing for the first time the point of view from that ICE agent. A newly released cell phone video obtained by CBS News for the first time shows the ICE agent's point of view and what are likely Renee Good's last words. The agent who appears to be filming with his cell phone approaches the car. Her car is blocking traffic. He circles around to the driver's side. As Good's wife, who is also filming, tries to get into the car, other officers rush towards the driver's side door. Good seems to try to back up and then drives forward just before the same agent fires with his right hand. Today, Minnesota's Attorney General Keith Ellison is asking the public to turn over any evidence. If you have information varying on the outcome of this matter in any way, please share it. And just a day after Renee Good was killed, another shooting involving federal agents, this one in Portland. It looks like Kohler saying that he was shot twice by ICE and his wife was shot as well. In his statement, the Department of Homeland Security said the shooting happened during a traffic stop targeting two people they say are in the country illegally and allegedly tied to a notorious Venezuelan gang. According to DHS, the driver weaponized the vehicle and tried to run agents over. Fearing for his life, an agent fired once, they say. The shooting sparked protests in Portland. Today, we spoke with Portland Police Chief Bob Day. So what you're saying is that ICE's presence in Portland has actually made the Portland Police Bureau less effective. It's made your job harder. It certainly has made it challenging for us because the fear and the growing distrust towards law enforcement in general. Police officials confirmed to us that the Venezuelan gang, Trend Aragua, is active here in Portland, that they believe that the couple that was shot was somehow connected to them. Now, their protest planned for tonight here in Portland and tomorrow night focused on that ICE facility behind me. So far, these protests have gone mostly without incident, Tony.
