The Powerball lottery has gone 41 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner, causing the prize to rise to an estimated $1.7 billion. The cash value of the jackpot is just over $770 million, making it the third largest in U.S. lottery history according to Powerball officials.

In the most recent drawing, 11 tickets matched all five white balls, each winning $1 million, but none matched the Powerball number required to claim the grand prize. The next drawing will offer players another chance at the record-setting jackpot.
