The laboratory was initially founded by the Amanam brothers, who were looking to solve a very personal problem. Yobobong was born out of the quest to solve an individual need for my younger brother Yobobong who lost his arm or his fingers to an accident some years ago. So Yobobong decided to invent this idea called the Yobobong bionics to add functionality to our already made hyper-realistic processes. The product is after years of research in the final stages of development. The hand is now strong enough to carry handbags or grip onto the wrist of its designer. I know how it feels like to lose a body part and no matter how small it is, it's very painful and I feel so fulfilled and it gives me joy to see I can put smile on someone else's face. The Amanam brothers' fusion of technology, cultural identity and artistry marks a new chapter in prosthetic development. They hope to make their artificial limbs affordable worldwide.
