Outraged by the Israeli government, they're blocking roads in Tel Aviv and calling for a nationwide strike. Today is a day of resistance calling the Israeli government to seal the deal that's now on the table and to bring all the hostages home and to end the war in Gaza. At a press conference, the family members of hostages had a message for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We the people demand you prioritize the hostages, go back to the negotiation table. There's a good deal on the table. It's something we could work with. It's something we could get a deal done to bring all the hostages back. We the people, we are the ones that decide what happens and you need to listen to us. In mid-August, the families of the hostages and opposition groups jointly called for a nationwide strike against the Israeli government. But the push has been met with mixed reviews. It has to end. But the way it has to end, it's not in our hands. It's in the hands of Hamas. And all these protests, what is it for? I don't understand. Completely in support of it. I think there has to be a deal. It's enough, it's enough now. Every country is fighting with each other. Our image around the world has completely changed, worse than it ever was. And enough is enough. So I'm completely in support of it. According to a Times of Israel poll, 72% of Israeli Jews are in favor of a peace deal with Hamas and for the release of the hostages still in Gaza.
