Morocco and Senegal have advanced to the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations after winning their respective quarterfinal matches. Senegal secured a narrow victory over Mali, with Ismaila scoring the decisive goal in an intense match marked by numerous missed opportunities.

Morocco, the tournament host, overcame Cameroon in a closely contested game, scoring in the first half and maintaining their lead to progress to the semifinals. The tournament atmosphere in Morocco was lively, with fans celebrating both inside and outside the stadiums, and special events such as concerts adding to the festive environment.

The first half went quite good. We had some occasion to make a goal, but you know, we didn't correctly make them work, right? But after, thank God, we have Ismaila. We could have been much more clinical, but the thing is, it comes and it goes, but I'm happy with only one goal. That's how it goes, that's life, but we had a lot of good chances. That was intense from start to finish. Absolutely. The vibes around Maly Senegal was electric, inside the stadium and all around it. Fans celebrating, sharing the excitement. And the stadium itself is impressive. It's one of the venues Morocco will share with Spain and Portugal for the 2030 World Cup. And that brings us to our next highlight, a Games concert in Rabat's fan zone that we went to. Did you know about it? Not really, but no, I do. He's a French singer. And as you see, many people are enjoying, like the children, the elders, everyone is enjoying. And he's very known in Morocco. And from that energy, we head back to what everyone's been waiting for. The second quarterfinal of the day, the hosts Morocco taking on Cameroon in a high stakes clash. The first half was kind of tough. We didn't know where we were standing until we scored. And eventually we did. We were hoping for a third goal. It never happened. But still, we're good. We're going to the semifinal, right? That is from us for now. See you tomorrow.
