Known for her outspoken views and controversies, Greene leaves after a notable shift from being a strong supporter of former President Trump to one of his critics, particularly following a vote related to the Epstein files.

In statements to reporters, Greene expressed no regrets about her tenure and described her decision as a move away from what she called toxic politics. She indicated she currently has no plans to remain in politics, though she did not completely rule out a future return, and plans to focus on her personal life in the near term.
