Newly released security footage shows Cody Ballmer, who pleaded guilty to arson, breaking a window of the governor's mansion with a sledgehammer, then throwing a Molotov cocktail inside, setting the house on fire. Pennsylvania Democrat Josh Shapiro says the incident has been haunting him for months. We will forever be changed by this. We know that time will heal, but the scars will remain. The video also shows Ballmer breaking a window and going inside, where he ignited another Molotov cocktail. He could be seen moving around the mansion, kicking at doors in close proximity to rooms where the governor and his family were sleeping. No one was injured in the incident. About an hour after the attack, Ballmer called 911 himself, criticized the governor's stance on the war in Gaza, and admitted responsibility. You all know where to find me. I'm not hiding, and I will confess to everything that I have done. Ballmer appeared in court Tuesday, where he was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison. The attack took place on the second night of Passover. Shapiro, who is Jewish, also had guests in the house. Two state troopers helped them all escape as the fire tore through some of the rooms. I've carried with me this enormous sense of guilt, guilt that doing this job that I love so much has put our children's lives at risk. It's been really hard.
