This all began around six o'clock yesterday morning where a 48-year-old man was driving in Epping. A 50-year-old man, the accused, then got out of his vehicle outside at 7-Eleven and allegedly performed a Nazi salute before then allegedly assaulting the other driver. Now that 50-year-old man, Peter Jones, he was charged and fronted a magistrate today. The prosecution argued that these kinds of allegations must be taken seriously in today's climate. The defence clapped back saying that these actions are on the lower end of the offending scale. Jones himself said that there are two sides to every story and that in this case he was provoked but he didn't elaborate on those details when we caught up with him after he was bailed.
