You know, it's interesting because yesterday as we were reporting on the so-called letter from Trump with the images, there were plenty of signatures, comparisons flying around to determine if it really was him or not. But tell us about the president's denial and how lawmakers are reacting to it. Yeah, the president went out to dinner, which is not a common occurrence for him here in Washington D.C. and he was asked by reporters about this letter, probably not the topic that he wants to be talking about. He once again said, Errol, that this is not his signature, that it's not the way that he speaks, that it is not his type of language. It's nonsense. He said this whole conversation is a waste of time and that there are 200 other things that are more important. And it won't surprise you to hear that depending on the party of the lawmaker you talk to, they either agree or disagree. Take a listen to first James Comer, the Republican head of the House Oversight Committee, and then a Democrat, Greg Kassar of Texas. None of the victims nor their attorneys were saying anything about, oh, look up this birthday card to see if it's legit or not. The president says it's not. I take the president's word. When you have a really powerful person like the president saying there's nothing to see here, that's when you've really got to look into it, because that smells like a coverup. So essentially you have most Republicans saying this is very old news, they're not interested in going back and examining it, while you have Democrats saying that it doesn't appear that the president is telling the truth here, because the signature in that card looks a lot like his signature at the time.
