This site is located near where over 400 bodies were found two years ago, all linked to preacher Paul McKenzie, who is currently in custody on murder charges. 

A multi-agency team is investigating the circumstances of these new deaths, including the recent arrest of 11 suspects following a report of child deaths. Government pathologists are preparing to conduct autopsies, and authorities are also examining financial transactions believed to be connected to ongoing cult activities. The police chief has acknowledged the challenges posed by the remote location but affirmed that efforts to pursue justice will continue.

Government pathologists are now preparing to conduct autopsies, starting with x-rays as the probe deepens. Authorities are also analysing money transfers to the suspects' phones, suspecting that cult operations were still being quietly funded. Police say the cult members had rented homes in Manlindi before relocating to the remote forested Shakama Ranch. The police chief has admitted the vast isolated terrain has made surveillance difficult, but vowed that coordinated efforts would continue until justice is served.
