On Capitol Hill Wednesday, Jeffrey Epstein survivors shared their stories about the late convicted sex offender while calling for accountability and transparency. They are urging lawmakers to pass legislation to compel the government to release the full Epstein files.

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse have publicly demanded increased transparency and the release of all government files related to the Epstein case. Ashley Rubright, one of the survivors, shared her experience and criticized recent developments, including Ghislaine Maxwell's transfer to a lower security prison. 

Bipartisan efforts in Congress, led by Representatives Ro Khanna and Tom Massey, are pushing for the release of Epstein-related files, with a petition close to forcing a vote. Survivors have expressed frustration with the lack of accountability and are considering compiling their own list of Epstein's clients if official records remain sealed.

Ashley Rubright was among the survivors who came forward Wednesday detailing abuse she says she suffered as a teenager by Jeffrey Epstein. When I walked in to the house and up to his room, you know, he was naked and I didn't expect that. I just figured, you know, he's an old rich guy and he's getting a massage. I mean, at 15, what would appeal to you about giving an old guy a massage? The $200. Did you have sex with him? No. He... He did a lot of touching the first time. That's all I want to say about that right now. She says she has blocked out much of the experience, even though she only had two encounters with the financier, including one where his longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was present. I did introduce him to women. Rubright says she was shocked by Maxwell's recent interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and her subsequent transfer to a lower security prison in Texas. It's disgusting and it's another slap in the face to us. While President Trump has asked the Attorney General to release some records in the Epstein case, he said calls to disclose more are irrelevant. This is a Democrat hoax. I'm not a hoax. I'm real. My story is real. Democratic California Congressman Ro Khanna is the co-sponsor of a bipartisan petition requesting the administration release all of its files on Epstein. We want what the survivors want. They were very clear. They want the Epstein files to be released. But Rubright is tempering her expectations. We want justice and accountability. Some of the survivors say they may compile their own Epstein client list. Republican Tom Massey even said he's willing to name names. He's been working with Congressman Khanna on that bipartisan petition to release the Epstein files, which only needs four more signatures to force a vote.
