Heading into this season, Jalen Tyson told me he was excited for a strong year two. What can we expect from you on the court? I'm a more confident and energized player. I'm excited to be able to show what I've been working on all summer. But he wasn't just hoping for it to come. He put in the work. I understand, okay, this year, you know, hit open shot, play defense, bring energy. Seeing him put in the work and it's actually coming out, coming out on the floor in the regular season. So, it's really good. We need him to keep going and even get better and better this game. And through the first eight games, that's what's been happening. Tyson has had double-digit scoring in the last four games. He's shooting over 46% from three in that time, while shooting 50% from the field this season. And his impact has gone beyond the stat sheet. I'm caring about the little things that he's doing. Making it tough on guys, getting in the half row, rebounding, the put-back dunk. Those are the things that, you know, he's going to be for us. Tyson not only stepping up for the team amid some early injuries, but making a case for a larger role for himself moving forward. When everybody's coming back, you know, he's going to make our decision hard. I think that's what he's trying to do. My thing was just try to find a way to get on the court. That's what they need. They need me to be a defensive guy, energy guy, rebounding guy, hit open shot. So, obviously, I'm going to do whatever it takes to get on the court. So, that's what he told me, so I'm doing it.
