A second weather disturbance is expected to move through the Great Lakes and New England regions, bringing a mix of rain, ice, and snow. The system will affect areas from Minneapolis and Wisconsin to the Northeast, with ice accumulations of up to two-tenths of an inch anticipated.

Travel conditions are expected to be hazardous, particularly from overnight Monday into Wednesday, as freezing precipitation and rain move through the region. Higher elevations may see snow, while valleys could experience freezing rain, leading to a messy weather pattern through midweek.

This is the disturbance that's coming through. This is tomorrow, so this is system number two. And by the way, the whole setup is just kind of messy this week overall, but this is number two coming through. Notice it slides into the Northeast, as Kelly mentioned, as we head into our Tuesday and Wednesday, and it's gonna bring rain and icing as well. But notice how it's not just Minneapolis, it does stretch into Wisconsin. You're talking a tenth of an inch to maybe two tenths of an inch. The biggest issue will be travel. And the problem is, is notice, as we run through this overnight, Monday, nothing's happening, but as we head into overnight, Monday into Tuesday early morning, you still see that freezing precip around 9 a.m. starts to clear out of Minneapolis. As I mentioned, we'll start to probably see some of those advisories lift, continues into Wisconsin. Notice the warmth, though, that is indicated by the rain that's gonna be coming through with this. And then as we move into the Northeast, again, as we head into our Tuesday afternoon, it gets into the Eastern Lakes as liquid. Then you see some of that frozen stuff here. Higher elevations might get some of that snow. The valleys could get some of that freezing rain. But this whole system is just gonna make a mess Tuesday even into Wednesday.
