In Israel, Netanyahu is facing a groundswell of discontent. A new poll from the Israeli Institute of Democracy shows that at least two-thirds of this country want the war to end. The families of hostages who've been waiting 725 days for their loved ones are almost too scared to hope for a ceasefire. I'm afraid of being disappointed again, said Hannah Cohen. We've suffered so much when previous agreements blew up in our faces. But there are still tough obstacles. For Hamas, it's a bitter trade-off. Disarmament and potential exile from Gaza, and it's unclear how Netanyahu will overcome his strong opposition to Palestinian statehood, which the deal could eventually lead to.
