At the least, he spied on half the country, at minimum two or three bullets. Hamas has returned in force to Gaza's streets. U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday the Americans had given the group permission to police the territory on a temporary basis to maintain order. It's been just a day since Trump flew to Egypt, signing with fanfare a deal he championed to bring peace to Gaza and the Middle East. But already the tone is shifting. Trump vowing Hamas will comply with a key part of that deal, and lay down its weapons or else. We have told them we want to disarm and they will disarm and if they don't disarm we will disarm them and it'll happen quickly and perhaps violently. So the president threatening violence just a day after promising peace. And Tom, we know that there was more violence from Israeli forces inside Gaza today too. That's right. Gaza's health ministry says seven people were killed by Israeli strikes on Tuesday. Hamas calls that a breach of the ceasefire agreement. Israel's military says it fired on people approaching its positions, but it provided no proof of that. But the promise of peace for Gaza not yet fully delivered.
