Online sleuths have spotted a bunch of website domains registered by Grand Theft Auto publisher, Take-Two. While these websites don't mean really point to anything, they could be in-game websites found in the upcoming GTA 6.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto 6 have identified a series of domain names recently registered by publisher Take-Two, leading to speculation about their connection to the upcoming game. The domains, which include names like whatup.app and leonidagov.org, were registered in May and resemble the parody websites featured in previous GTA titles.

This move mirrors the promotional approach used for Grand Theft Auto 5, where similar fake sites were created prior to the game's release. While the exact purpose of the new domains remains unconfirmed, fans believe they may serve as in-game websites accessible both within the game and in real life.

An eagle-eyed Grand Theft Auto 6 fan thinks they've spotted a number of cues about the hugely anticipated game, courtesy of a bundle of curious domain names registered by publisher Take-Two. While no one is entirely sure what the website names are for, all were apparently registered in May under Take-Two's name. Some fans suggest they're like the URLs for in-game sites that people can visit IRL as well. Here's a list of what's been discovered so far. Whatup.app, rideme.app, buckme.app, leonidagov.org, brianandbradley.com, hookersgalore.com, wipeoutcornskin.com, and myboyhasacreepycorndog.com. So, Whatup sounds a lot like What's App, Ride Me could be Uber or Lyft, and leonidagov.org is likely a fake government site. It follows a similar pattern to GTA 5, which similarly hosted parody or fake sites years before its release way back in 2013. GTA 6 is set for release on May 26th next year. Moving on, Hollow Knight's Silksong developer Team Cherry has revealed details on the game's first post-release patch, which it said mostly makes bug fixes and slight balance adjustments to the early game. In a post on Steam, the developer said patch 1.0.28470 is set for all players mid-next week, so around September 17th. However, PC players can access this version right now via the public beta branch on Steam or good old games. In terms of balance changes, it looks like the patch makes Silksong slightly easier. Silksong is one of the biggest launches of the year, hitting huge player concurrent numbers on Steam alongside a positive reception from critics. But amid the excitement over Team Cherry's long-awaited sequel is a debate within the community about whether the game is too hard, perhaps even unfairly so. All fixes in the patch will apply retroactively, so players who've hit a significant bug that prevents progress may want to switch over to public beta to receive the fix, Team Cherry said. And finally today, it looks like work on Dead Island 3 is underway, after a tease was published to celebrate the series' 14th anniversary. In a post on Steam, developer Dambuster Studios posted this image alongside the caption, and the next outbreak is already brewing. The message reads, it's been 14 years since Dead Island first splattered onto the scene, stranding players in the blood-soaked paradise of Banoi. Since then, the Zompocalypse has crawled from tropical shores to the sun-drenched chaos of Hele and Dead Island 2, where over 20 million Slayers have left nothing but carnage behind. This isn't the final cut, though. Dambuster Studios are already carving out what comes next. For now, the details stand to wraps, the outbreak is far from over. The hope, of course, is that Dead Island 3 won't take quite as long as Dead Island 2 did to come out. The Dead Island 2 that eventually launched and enjoyed success, suffered a whopping 8 year delay after long stretches of development hell. The question is, when will Dead Island 3 be revealed and when will it come out?
