Political analysts note that both Trump and Maxwell may have reasons to withhold damaging information, but details of the discussion and any potential plea deals remain unclear. Maxwell is also set to be formally deposed by federal lawmakers at her Tallahassee prison facility, though the specifics of the proceeding have not been disclosed.

Now, some believe that she can finger other high-profile co-conspirators. Now all of this comes after a recent Wall Street Journal report revealed Trump's name appeared multiple times in those sealed Epstein records. Political analysts, they now caution that both Trump and Maxwell may have incentives to keep damaging information quiet, though what was discussed in this meeting and if any kind of plea bargain is in the works remains unclear. And Ms. Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped. She never invoked a privilege. She never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability. And that's all the comment we're going to have today about the meeting. We don't want to comment about the substance of the meeting for obvious reasons. And meanwhile, you got the U.S. House Oversight Chair James Comer. He announced that Maxwell will be formally deposed by federal lawmakers. That's coming up on August 11th right here at her Tallahassee prison facility.
