Israel has previously maintained that any ceasefire must ensure the release of all captives and the disarmament of Hamas, while Hamas insists on the right of Palestinians to bear defensive weapons.

We will keep on with our efforts and pressurizing and contacting with the concerned regional and international parties to put complete pressure on the Israeli side till they accept this deal that is based according to the proposal of the U.S. envoy Steve Whitkoff. Israel has previously indicated that it would not accept a ceasefire deal that does not ensure all captives are freed at once and the disarmament of Hamas. Hamas has insisted that it is the right of Palestinians to bear defensive weapons.
