‘Umamusume: Pretty Derby’ is a racing game where players control horse girls, characters with horse-like features named after actual racehorses. After four years of success in Japan, the game has become available in North America, quickly climbing to number three on the iPhone Adventure Games chart and surpassing one million downloads on Google Play. 

The game includes unique features such as post-race concerts for the top finishers and has expanded into other media, including manga and anime. A new anime series based on the game recently premiered on Prime Video.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby is a racing game featuring horse girls as the protagonists. The characters have horse-like ears and tails and are named after real-world race horses such as this character, Haru Urara, named after a Japanese racing horse that never won a race during its career. After four years of popularity in Japan, the game is now playable in North America. As of the writing of this story, the game sits at number three on the iPhone Adventure Games chart and boasts over one million downloads on Google Play. During each race, a winner's concert takes place with the top three horse girls in the spotlight.
