I mean, chances are your battery is not strong enough to start your vehicle in this cold weather. The cold is hard on batteries. You will get less life out of a charged battery in this cold weather versus the warm weather. That's what starts your vehicle. That gives all the electronics the power that it needs. The alternator is what keeps the battery fully charged as you drive. The alternator for the battery is usually located at the front of the engine, which is this guy here, and that is what charges the battery. A good 20 minute drive should be sufficient enough to charge your battery. So that way, your very next start, it will have the proper amount of power to start your vehicle. Doing these short two or three minute drives, it's lowering the state of the battery. If you end up in a situation where you have to boost your vehicle using a different vehicle with jumper cables, it's very important that you go positive to positive and negative to negative. Red is usually positive and black is usually negative, but on this car, there's actually no red wires. So that's why you have to look for the symbols. I knew the weather was coming. So far, we've gotten five battery replacements in the last day and a half, and I expect many more this week. It's always best to buy a premium battery. If you spend less money, you're going to get a lower quality battery. That might last a year or two before it needs to be replaced again, but if you spend the money and get a premium battery, that's going to last for multiple years.
