Vitkoff said he'd also hold talks with Ukrainian officials, claiming the two sides were close to reaching the final 10% of a deal to end the nearly four-year-long war. Ukraine says it's agreed to most of the peace plan, but that key issues, including a thorny question of territory, remain unresolved. Kiev's also seeking clarity from its allies on post-war security guarantees, which it sees as crucial to deterring Moscow from launching a new assault.
