That sparked a public appeal, and last night, Mr Colletti handed himself in to Waverley Police Station, where he was charged with common assault. The hairdresser, who's out on bail, was at work today, but he refused to comment on the allegations, though locals have told me that Colletti has spent the past few years trying to move on with his life after the disappearance of his former partner at a time when she was wanted by ASIC for stealing tens of millions of dollars from investors. Many will remember that Melissa Caddick's foot washed up on a South Coast beach, but the rest of her body has never been recovered, and while there was never an accusation of wrongdoing against Mr Colletti over the missing money, he now has a legal matter of his own to deal with, it seems, one that he will face court for in September.
