You may be the charge of the FBI, but I am not afraid of you. Before becoming FBI director, Patel helped promote conspiracy theories that information had been withheld about the Jeffrey Epstein case. When asked by Republicans yesterday, he said all credible information has been released. Who, if anyone, did Epstein traffic these young women to besides himself? Himself. There is no credible information, none. If there were, I would bring the case yesterday. Patel also denied any role in the transfer of Epstein's co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, to a lower security prison, which led to another tense exchange. You want the American people to believe that? Do you think they're stupid? No. I think the American people believe the truth that I'm not in the weeds on the everyday movements of inmates. What I am doing is protecting this country, providing historic reform and combating the weaponization of intelligence by the likes of you. You are a political buffoon at best. Two more former FBI agents issued statements Tuesday accusing the FBI of unlawfully firing them without cause. They're part of a growing purge of employees inside the bureau.
