AI or artificial intelligence is the future, but the future is here when it comes to this technology already. The Fox 5i team's Dana Fahl joins us with one of the ways you'll likely be using it this summer. You told us you're gonna keep us up to date with this. Yes, because this is all new technology. It's kind of old, but it's new to us and it's exploding and it's getting ready to be everywhere and I promise to help you and myself keep up with all of this. It's new to us, but beginning now to start being part of our everyday lives. AI will be part of your fast food ordering this summer and you will have no choice but to jump in and just go with it. It's gonna be bumpy at first perhaps, but we're all going to get the hang of it. Here's what's happening. Next month, Wendy's will start taking drive-thru orders with its pilot chatbot system called Fresh AI. The system is generated by Google, not only takes orders, but the internal robots gonna talk to you too. Real humans will be nearby to jump in if things aren't working just right. Again, it's a pilot project, so you're gonna have to expect some hiccups. Wendy's management will tell you though, it actually modernized the first drive-thru windows 50 years ago and it's ready to take the lead again here. Other chains like Hardee's, McDonald's, Del Taco are already tinkering with this. Expect big news from all of your favorites coming soon. All of this was coming anyway, but the pandemic made the need for this change happen faster. Indoor seating was gone, workers were trying to have less physical contact with customers and with your food, restaurants just don't have the staff they used to, so it's been a natural progression to get this moving along. I feel though if you're in a hurry, which is why most people go through a drive-thru, it could be frustrating. Maybe, but you know there isn't the staff there right now, so some of these driving times have already slowed down, so this is, they're hoping to help pick it up, but listen, the more people who use this technology on the front end, the faster the bugs can get worked out because it is not going away. It's here, so let's just go ahead, get in line and help them get to it faster. Be part of the experiment, I suppose. Yeah. Well, speaking of AI, musicians Dana have also criticized its use in songs, including Snoop Dogg. Rapper shared his thoughts on an AI-generated version of his hit song, Gin and Juice. Take a listen. Is that a children's song? You can see the rapper appearing to look confused. Snoop isn't the first artist to speak out against AI. Last month, Drake took to Instagram calling for something to be done after he was featured on an AI- generated song. Hmm. Yeah, okay, so there's one star though who doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Tom Hanks. During a podcast interview, Hank says the technology could make it possible for him to continue appearing in new films even after his death. AI will most likely be used in the actor's latest project, a movie titled Here. Huh. That comes with so many things, like who makes the money after he's gone, who picks the projects after he's gone. It's just a little creepy too, isn't it? It's creepy and do you have to make a plan before you die how you can be used or does the estate get to decide for here to eternity how you're used and who gets the money for that? There's a lot to consider but for folks who want to live forever, this is a way I guess. Thanks, too.
