Partey, who currently plays for Villarreal, was released on bail after his initial arrest. The court has scheduled a trial date at Southwark Crown Court. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Partey continues to play professionally, most recently appearing as a substitute in a Champions League match, where he was booed by opposing fans.
