Both countries reaffirmed key principles of the accord, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful dispute resolution. Kinshasa clarified it does not support the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda, while Kigali reiterated its respect for DRC's territorial integrity. The next oversight meeting is scheduled to take place in Doha.
