McElroy has worked for GE and Evendell for over a decade. I've had three sick days every year for 13 years. He says he's not going to He says, though, given a few weeks of vacation time, it's a battle to make ends meet while caring for his sick daughter. I explained to them that I had. I was at the hospital with my child. It didn't matter. They still told me that if I don't cover my time they would write me up. When I told them that I needed to leave to take my child to the hospital. Didn't matter UAW President Sean Fain joined GE Aerospace workers Tuesday, encouraging them to stay in the fight. The wealthy divide the working class and get us to turn against each other so the elites can continue to rob us blind. And they'll do that at a single workplace like GE in a heartbeat. So we need to stick together. I think it's obvious, but what is your hope? Coming out of these negotiations. I hope the company is reasonable with us. We're what we're asking for is it's not. It's a rounding error. To these people. I mean. They could pay every single members health care, and it would be less than two weeks of the CEOs pay. GE says they will continue good faith negotiations. They also say that they have a contingency plan to keep and maintain operations if these workers go on strike.
