George Papadopoulos was a 2016 campaign staffer. He was targeted as part of the FBI's probe of Russian collusion, alleged Russia collusion. George, always great to see you, my friend. Great to be back with you, John. Just first off, I wanted to ask you what this has been like for you to watch Tulsi Gabbard undertake this monumentous task of, first of all, trying to dismantle the deep state, but now doing this in this way, exposing what we knew, what you and I talked about so many times before, but now we actually have the receipts to back it up. John, I think that D.N.I. Gabbard will go down in history as the most consequential D.N.I. in modern American history. President Trump had former D.N.Is who simply did not have the courage, I would argue, to go all the way and declassify files that directly link Obama to the greatest political scandal of modern American history. Before these files were declassified, John, you would think that two rogue FBI agents, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, were basically running this entire operation. They did a couple things wrong and that we should just continue and move on with our lives. Now that Obama's fingerprints are all over this, and when President Trump uses the words treason and guilty, those words should be listened to very carefully, and I think a lot more is gonna come out. Yeah, you actually went to jail for all of this. And I think it's important to ask people like you this question, what do you think is appropriate? Should President Obama or anyone else be convicted or prosecuted for what these allegations actually are? I think that the only way that America can really heal and correct history and assure that MAGA propels itself into the future, and we don't have this dark cloud over MAGA's head, meaning the fake Russia collusion story, then if anyone did commit illegal activities, including violations of civil liberties, interfering in elections, illegal surveillance, those people, no matter how high up they are, should be held accountable. And does that mean prosecution? If it does, so be it. President Trump was raided, indicted, and convicted. As President Obama himself likes to say, no one is above the law. That includes a former president. So for me, I think if we're gonna move forward and close this chapter once and for all, we need AG Bondi to go all the way. And the first step is to declassify everything and then let grand juries see the information. And if they decide to indict, then I'll be one of the first people cheerleading that on. What questions remain for you? I mean, what do you hope to have exposed in this process, George? I'd like to understand why Special Counsel John Durham said that the Mueller investigation and the Comey investigation didn't start the way that the mainstream media and even Comey said it did. I'd like to see how far back the legal surveillance really went. I would argue it probably started in 2015 and targeted other presidential campaigns. So I think we have to get all of those files declassified. We have to understand why John Durham, under oath, stated that he couldn't prosecute other individuals because certain information was classified. So that's why it's so important for this to be declassified, John, because once it is, it'll allow two things to happen. One, transparency for the American people, and it will likely bolster the midterms for MAGA. And secondly, for prosecutions. If this doesn't come out, John, then we're forever gonna have this dark cloud over the 2016 campaign and presidency. And it's probably gonna affect how this entire movement operates into the future. I think it's also important to take a step back. And I kind of asked myself this question over the last several days is, how did President Trump operate and even focus on anything else, knowing how he was targeted and even how people like yourself were targeted? Of course, you're not the president of the United States, but he has continued. And you look back on certain statements that were made, not just by the media, but one thing that I was struck by is this clip from the 2020 presidential debate when President Trump was asked, and they love to ask him this question, would he commit to a free transition should he lose that election? And here's what he said. So when I listened to Joe talking about a transition, there's been no transition from when I won. I won that election. And if you look at crooked Hillary Clinton, if you look at all of the different people, there was no transition because they came after me trying to do a coup. They came after me spying on my campaign. They started from the day I won and even before I won, from the day I came down the escalator with our first lady. They were a disaster. They were a disgrace to our country. And we've caught them. We've caught them all. We've got it all on tape. We've caught them all. And by the way, you gave the idea for the Logan Act against General Flynn. You better take a look at that because we caught you, in a sense, and President Obama was sitting in the office. He knew about it, too, so don't tell me about a free transition. I mean, a lot of people thought he was a conspiracy theory for raising those issues, but now we know that's not the case. That's exactly why the mainstream media, some in the mainstream media's approval rating is so low because they propagated fake stories and fake information and never followed the facts. They willfully suppressed critical facts, including the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020. They suppressed information about Russiagate and Obamagate that did not fit the narrative that the Democrats, the Obama administration, and the mainstream media wanted to continue. President Trump is one of the strongest leaders America has ever seen because he had every onslaught thrown against him and he fought back valiantly. He came out stronger. Every time he was targeted, he raised more money and he's more popular than ever before. And a main reason he did is because he knew that he would be justified and he would be exonerated in the end because he did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong. The campaign did nothing wrong. And 75 to 80 million people that voted for President Trump knew who they were voting for when they did, and it wasn't a Russian stooge. It was somebody who wanted to take America back and to fix this country. Yeah, George, I remember you talking to me. We were having lunch in Los Angeles back, I think, in 2021, and you were talking about the fact that you weren't even sure if you were gonna have your bank account the next day. There was threats of debanking you, all these other side effects that came from this bogus investigation. In many ways, you will never be made whole. Yeah, this has been certainly one of the darkest chapters in American history. You've had numerous people either jailed, persecuted, debanked, their civil liberties violated, spied upon. It's been an incredibly unnerving situation, and certainly we can't go back in time and correct all of the injustices, but I'm an optimistic person, John, and I expect nothing but the best. And I know when we met in Los Angeles, I was a little more pessimistic back then, but now I'm a little more optimistic because I think we have the right personnel in the right positions of power at the right time to take this all the way, and I don't think we're ever gonna stop. And the only way, like I said, to heal America and to move forward is to rectify the injustices of the past, and we're on that route right now.
