Deputies believe electrocution in Seminole that killed one lineman and injured two others was accidental.

Authorities in Seminole County, Florida, are investigating an incident in which a subcontractor crew working for Duke Energy struck a power line while installing a new power pole. The accident resulted in the death of one worker, Justin Bryan, and left two others, Matt Waldrop and Jeff Bush, seriously injured. 

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office believes the electrocution was accidental. All three workers were fathers and the sole providers for their families. Support efforts, including a GoFundMe campaign, have been started to assist the families affected by the tragedy.

He's also telling us about how he's helping one of the families because all three will need help after Tuesday's tragedy. Three lives changed forever in the blink of an eye in what authorities believe was an accident. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says a subcontractor for Duke Energy was trying to install a new power pole Tuesday in Seminole when the crew encountered trouble and their machinery struck a power line. One worker was killed and two more were badly injured. It's very gut-wrenching. Jesse Gadford knows all three but he's particularly close with one of the men badly injured, Matt Waldrop, who's right now receiving care at Tampa General Hospital. Just for the burn session they were saying anywhere from six to eight weeks to eight to twelve weeks. Jesse Alignment himself says the accident is a painful reminder of how dangerous line work can be. No we go to work every day planning on going home but some cases you know it it's very life-altering and line works very unforgiving. He says all three victims were dads with families, families that will need help. Every single one of them was a sole provider for their family. That's why he started a GoFundMe for his friend Matt, a friend he hopes will make a full recovery in due time. The other two victims were also identified by the sheriff's office.
