However, Thailand has not yet responded to the ceasefire proposal, and military operations continue in the region.

Rescue operations are in full swing as volunteers mobilise to deliver vital supplies like water and food. This humanitarian aid is funded by the government as well as private entities. It gives Thailand's ruling coalition a chance to restore its tarnished image amidst the ongoing conflict with Cambodia. As night descends, artillery fire can still be heard. Just 30 kilometres from the front lines, deserted villages tell the tale, yet some residents are reluctant to leave their homes. For this grandfather and his grandson, the night ahead looms heavy with uncertainty. Since the onset of hostilities, at least 14 Thai civilians have tragically lost their lives. The United Nations has urged both parties to restrain. Following a security council meeting last night, Cambodia has called for a ceasefire but Bangkok has yet to address the proposal. According to our information, the Thai Navy has already started operations in the Gulf of Thailand.
