A 15-year-old boy from Waterbury, Connecticut, identified as Eric Aitken, was shot and killed in an apartment building in Pelham Gardens, Bronx. Another teen, a 14-year-old boy, was also shot in the arm and is recovering in stable condition at Jacoby Hospital.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. at 1219 Adee Avenue. Police are searching for a group of individuals for questioning who fled the scene, and are urging anyone with information to contact authorities.

We begin with breaking news. Police have identified a teenager shot and killed in Pelham Gardens last night. He's identified as 15 year old Eric Aitken from Waterbury, CT and another teen is currently recovering after the shooting had happened at 1219. A D Ave inside of the building. Yellow tape blocked the staircase to the 7th floor. We're told around 6 o'clock in the evening yesterday, police responded to the shooting. A 14 year old boy was found shot in the left arm and taken to Jacoby Hospital in stable condition. But the second victim, 15 year old Aitken was shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. A neighbor named Ray told us it's not the first time a tragedy has struck his building. He hopes other teenagers will learn to not choose violence. We can go to school. You know, and then you build this on positive. You know, cause for the victims. For the for the people that commit the crime, you know when it catch up to you, that's years of your life that's unproductive. Police say they're looking for a group of people for questioning. They ran off. So if you know anything about this incident, please give police a call.
