Joining us now, Gentry Jeevers, is a content creator and political commentator. Greetings, and good morning. Thanks for having me on, guys. I appreciate it. You bet. What's your reaction to yesterday's event and Charlie Kirk's legacy? It was such a beautiful bow to put on this period of mourning that we've had. I thought the ceremony was very honoring to Charlie, brand new in the garden at the White House. A lot of very kind words were said about him, and I think Erica did a fantastic job communicating her heartbreak and sorrow. I thought it was really touching when she shared the story of her daughter sharing the birthday note. I posted that clip on my Instagram, and my wife and I were, besides ourselves, watching that. My heart goes out to the Kirks and everybody at Turning Point. It's such a huge loss. It really is. She's such an incredibly strong woman and mother, and I can't even imagine what she's feeling at this moment. But turning to President Trump, he spoke also about the far-left radicals and the violence they often employ to push their agenda, just as we saw with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. What can be done, Gentry, to protect ourselves from this threat? That's a question that everybody, I think, is trying to answer, because of all of the left-wing violence and not just burning down buildings and destroying property, but actually shooting at us and killing us now. We're in a really, really weird spot, because we can't necessarily walk it back, right? I feel like the only thing that we can do is double down, keep speaking the truth, obviously take some more security precautions if you are going to go out in public and speak. Don't necessarily announce it early, maybe, or get security, which is expensive. So now free speech is costing some money, but just having good people around you, making sure that the spot that you're speaking at is protected, which is a really sad place to be in the United States of America. We shouldn't be threatened or killed for what we believe. That's part of our First Amendment. That's so true. It's very important to celebrate victories and making sure the person who's responsible gets the credit. But in a left-wing reaction to President Trump's Middle East peace deal, New York City mayoral candidate and front-runner Zohran Mamdani weighed in, posting this statement. Today's scenes of Israelis and Palestinians are profoundly moving. Israeli hostages being freed and families reunited after years of fear, uncertainty and torture. The first days in Gaza, without relentless Israeli bombardment of Palestinians, our families returned to rumble and loved ones freed from detention. Notice, there is no mention of President Trump anywhere in Mamdani's post following that statement City Councilwoman Ina Vernikov, who is Jewish and pro-Israel, fired back, glaringly missing from this word salad any single mention of Hamas or the terrorists who brought this upon themselves by murdering and raping their way across Israel on October 7th. So why do Democrats like Mamdani refuse to give President Trump credit for a job well done? And even more troubling, why do they seem unable to condemn Hamas for the October 7th attacks? Well, to be honest, I'm actually surprised that he mentioned this at all. The internet and all the pro-Palestine, pro-Hamas protesters have been very quiet since the ceasefire, since the peace in the Middle East. So even though it's not a great statement, I'm impressed that he said that. Hopefully it has some ripple effects and these protesters disband. But I think we know the reason why he's not mentioning Hamas and he didn't give credit to Trump. It's because he has very close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, actually. There was a story a little bit ago that showed his wife posting a memorial, an Instagram story for a Hamas jihadist, one of those crisis actors. So he's got very close ties with Hamas. I don't, it really makes me, it makes me sad because most likely he will be the next mayor of New York and that's going to be a tragedy. Yeah. Absolutely. For so many reasons. Exactly. He has no business as well posting anything talking about October 7th given his connections to terrorists, literally terrorists, and people who fund those who are anti-Semitic. I agree. It's incredibly sad. The state of affairs here in New York, I mean, final thoughts, Gentry, as to how we can combat the media in terms of TikTok and all of that, who are promoting candidates like Mamdani. I mean, he really ran a TikTok-focused campaign. It was all social media and his charisma, quote-unquote charisma. This is what we have as a result. Oh no, he's very effective. He's a very good communicator. You can't deny that. My challenge wouldn't necessarily be to censor him, but to challenge him. I get questions all the time in my DMs of people running for XYZ posts and they say, hey, like, can you help me with social media? And the first thing I always say is you have to have content. You have to figure out a style, a format that works, and you have to be able to speak to your base. Because if you can't do that, you're just going to post into oblivion. And the biggest problem is that we have so many people spending a tremendous amount of time on social media and they're getting all their news, all their information from it, which is not necessarily good or bad. The good thing or the bad thing is where they get their information from. So if there's a lot of bad actors on social media posting their, you know, not tested ideas, why don't we as the right as Christians post more on social media to try to capture that attention? Yeah. So true. And you know what else, Gentry? We need to get rid of the stale consultants that run the same playbook year after year for different candidates in different states. Why? Because we need fresh ideas, people who understand social media and understand how to deliver a message to people who are thirsty for new leadership. Yeah. People exactly like you, Gentry, who get it, who understand the next generation. I think the Republicans after this election need to step it up. But appreciate your time this morning.
