All right, let's bring in Anthony Salvato, the Executive Director of Elections and Surveys here at CBS News. Anthony, you have news out of Virginia. What can you tell us? I do. Hi, Liz. Look, all night long, we are going to show you this data as we see it. And the first thing, because Virginia's polls have just closed, is that we currently rate this as lean Democrat, lean Spamburger. Now, she's got a lead here in the exit polls. That's why you don't see any votes lit up from the counties of Virginia yet, but that's what the exit polls, that's what voters who went to the polls today have been telling us. Now, on that point, Liz, let me show you this, because there's some interesting breakdowns out of that. And one of the things that we have noticed here is the vote among women in Virginia. Look at this very big lead for Spamburger. This is the kind of thing that will give Democrats hope as we go into 2026. They need, in many of these cases, to win wide margins among women. She's doing better than the last time the Democrats had a race in Virginia four years ago. Now, the other part of this, Liz, and I'll show you, this is younger people, okay? Younger people also, big Democratic lead, same idea. Their core coalition, they need big leads like this, and that's one of the things we're seeing in Virginia, and that's one of the reasons we get it right now as a lean for Spamburger, Liz. Anthony Savanto, thank you so much. All right, well, CBS News reporter Torian Small is live for us in Leesburg, Virginia. Torian, you've been on the ground talking to voters all day long. What are you hearing from them? Yeah, there was a level of enthusiasm that surprised poll workers we talked to at two different precincts, the first one in Norfolk, Virginia, and the other one in Frederickburg, one of the largest polling places in that city. And the sentiment that we're getting from voters is they're excited either to make a difference or to potentially be a part of what will be history made in the first female governor being elected tonight. At the top of the ticket, we saw the two candidates facing very unique challenges for the Republican lieutenant governor running to replace her boss in Governor Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Earl Sears. She did not receive an explicit endorsement from President Donald Trump, even though other Republicans in races statewide did. And then for Abigail Spanberger, she looked to distance herself from a text messaging scandal for the Democrat who's running for attorney general in Jay Jones. I should also note, it's curious that tonight we won't see, at least on the Republican side, the attorney general candidate and governor candidate stand together as the current attorney general, Jason Meares will have his own watch party in Virginia Beach, but these are just interesting threads we're following as we watch the results come in, Liz.
