The Kazakhstani was clinical early, breaking serve repeatedly to storm to a 3-0 lead. Shang had no answers as Bublik continued rolling, wrapping up the first set 6-1 with aggressive precision. The second set brought resistance, Shang finally finding rhythm to stay competitive. But when it mattered most in the tie-break, Bublik raised his level again, racing to a 4-2 advantage and never looking back. Match point sealed at 7-2 in the breaker. Straight sets domination. The other quarter-final ended in disappointment. Marcos Girón led Michael Amor 6-3, 1-0 when Amor pulled up with what appeared to be a leg injury and couldn't continue. Saturday's semi-final is set.
