This is catastrophic, as the investigation into what triggered the explosion at this Tennessee munitions plant entered its fourth day. Jade Began is haunted by the blast. She'd only worked there for three months. Is it hard to think about the fact that you're here and they're not? Yeah. You know, because whatever took place in that building that caused the explosion, like I was there eight hours prior, could have been could have been me. Jeremy Moore, Melinda Rainey. Today, the Humphreys and Hickman County sheriffs read the names of 16 men and women who they believe were killed in the explosion while they worked to answer the big question. What triggered the blast? We have worked closely with AES to know to look at pictures, look at blueprints, and then we slowly, methodically chart to put some of that stuff together. Sixteen people lost their lives and these families have nothing, you know, to grieve with. Over the weekend, dozens of friends, neighbors and loved ones gathered to remember those who died. Do you think this was just an accident? I don't see how it couldn't have been. Other buildings at the AES facility are still standing, but Began's not sure what comes next or if she'll go back to work. Do you want to go back? They were good people. It's a good company. But is it worth me risking? My life. Now, in hopes of giving those families some sense of closure, officials say they are determined to figure out the exact cause of this explosion. But they describe the painstaking investigation, John, like trying to put a puzzle back together with no real timeline on just how long that will take.
