At least two people were killed and 15 others injured following a series of Russian attacks across Ukraine, which included over 120 drones and an Iskander ballistic missile. Ukrainian air forces reported intercepting or jamming 94 drones, but 27 drones and the missile struck their targets, causing casualties and infrastructure damage.

The attacks resulted in one death in Donetsk and another in Dnipropetrovsk, where three others were also injured and approximately 100,000 families lost power. Additional injuries were reported in Zaporizhia, and explosions occurred near industrial sites in Odessa. Russian officials also claimed a Ukrainian missile attack on Belgorod, though this was not confirmed by Kyiv.

At least two people were killed and 15 others were injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine overnight into Saturday. Officials say the overnight barrage consisted of over 120 drones, as well as an Iskander ballistic missile. Ukraine's air forces say they successfully intercepted or jammed 94 drones, but noted that 27 did strike their targets, along with the missile. One person was killed in Donetsk in the eastern Donbass region as a result of the attacks, according to regional officials. A 43-year-old man was also killed in the Dnipropetrovsk inshelling that started on Friday and continued into the early hours of Saturday. Three others were injured in the region, and some 100,000 families were left without power after energy infrastructure sites were damaged. Three more were injured in the southern region of Zaporizhia, which local officials say were shelled over 740 times on Friday alone. Loud explosions were also reported on Saturday morning near industrial sites in Odessa. Russian officials say a Ukrainian missile attack on Belgorod cost 600,000 homes to lose access to water, power and gas, though the attacks were not confirmed by Kyiv.

Iran's army is threatening to join the crackdown on protesters as demonstrations against the regime grow and the death toll mounts. Huge crowds have taken to the streets across the Islamic Republic. Iran's Revolutionary Guard calls them "terrorists." Haley Ott has more details.
