Arm and Meta have announced a significant expansion of their long-standing partnership, focusing on integrating Arm's technology into Meta's data centers and wearable devices. The collaboration aims to enable AI capabilities both in the cloud and directly on devices such as Meta's Wayfarer and Hypernova smart glasses, as well as associated wristbands.

A key aspect of the partnership is the development of a unified software stack for AI applications, ensuring consistency between cloud-based and device-based AI operations. Arm's technology is positioned as central to this integration, supporting Meta's plans to scale the production and adoption of AI-powered wearables.

So in the data centers, increasingly they're moving to ARM in the data centers, whether it's general purpose compute or accelerated compute, things are doing AI. But also, you can see what I'm wearing today, these are the Wayfair glasses from Meta, amazing product, also ARM based, and there's a lot of AI in these glasses. If you look at the next generation product, they're Hypernova, there's AI not only in the glasses, but AI in these wristbands that work back and forth, that's all ARM based. Let's talk about this, because I know that Mark feels very strongly that the glasses are the single best vehicle to get AI into your brain. 100%. They're talking about multiple millions of Ray-Bans to be sold by the end of 2026. People think it's not market moving, I think that's insane. And there's AI, Jim, not only running in the cloud, but there's AI running locally, and the magic is you want the software stack to be similar between what's running in the wearable and what's running in the cloud.
