Alan Tudyk reprises his role in the television series 'Resident Alien' as the show enters its fourth season. This season, Tudyk takes on the challenge of playing two different alien characters: his original role as Harry and a new character known as the Mantid, who arrives on Earth and masquerades as Harry.

The introduction of the Mantid was conceived at the end of the previous season to provide a fresh twist and new challenges for the storyline. The show's creators aimed to build on the cliffhangers of the third season, setting up new conflicts and intrigue for the latest episodes.

Oh hey, how are you feeling today? Pretty sexy actually. Uh, cool. It's a really fun season. I am playing another character, the Mantid, who comes to Earth. You see him right at the end of season three, he's got this, uh, sort of like a praying mantis head. And now he's on Earth, masquerading as Harry. It looked like the head was bitten clean off. What type of animal can bite a head off with one bite? What if it was an alien? We came up with the idea at the end of season three, uh, to have this sort of twist driving into season four. Because, you know, with a season like season three where you have all these cliffhangers, you want to come up with ideas that are going to drive you into the next season and create a problem, you know, for the next season.
