We just got hands on with Google’s brand new Pixel lineup and there’s a lot to be excited about. From budget friendly noise canceling earbuds to iPhone like features on the latest phones, Google is stepping up big this year.

Google has announced its latest Pixel lineup, including four new Pixel 10 smartphones: the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All models feature 5x optical zoom and support for Pixel Snap accessories, leveraging Qi 2 wireless charging technology. The Pro Fold introduces a split-screen camera roll view, and a new camera coach mode offers real-time photography tips.

The Pixel Watch 4 debuts with a larger, brighter display and AI-powered workout suggestions, while the Pixel Buds 2A bring active noise cancellation to Google's budget earbuds, along with a replaceable battery in the charging case. All devices are available for pre-order, with further reviews and impressions forthcoming.

We just tried all of Google’s new Pixel devices

We just got our first look at the Google Pixel 10 lineup of four new phones, plus the new Pixel Watch 4, plus the new Pixel Buds 2a, which are pretty great for bringing noise cancelling to the budget earbuds. And on top of all that, Pixel's finally at the forefront of a revolution that Android phones have been waiting for, and it all starts with a snap. So when we have the Pixel 10 phones, you have four new models this year. The regular 10, the Pro, which has some pretty neat new tricks in terms of the camera, the Pro XL, which is just bigger, which means a bigger screen and bigger battery, plus the Pro Fold, which foldable phones. They're still happening. They still cost more, but this one feels a little more fun. Yes, MagSafe accessories, thanks to Qi 2 support, are finally on Android. It's called Pixel Snap is the name for all the accessories. Google has their own charging stand. They have their own kickstands. We saw a bunch here at this preview, and honestly, about darn time. Great job, Google. Samsung, everybody else, it's time to catch up. The other big thing coming to all the Pixel 10s, each of the Pixel 10s has 5x optical zoom. Not 5x optical quality zoom, 5x optical zoom. So even if you get the most affordable Pixel 10, which is the Pixel 10, you're gonna get real zoom and not some fake artifact-y digital zoom. But then again, Google's got a really cool new trick in the digital zoom this year with ProRes zoom. They're using their generative AI stuff in a way that's, for once, not got me rolling my eyes. Also, on the Pro Fold, when you've got the phone unfolded, you can actually see your camera roll on the left side after you take a photo. Let's say I'm out of the event. If I've got the phone unfolded, I can see a full image version of the photo I just shot, so I don't have to check, do I need to take another photo of that? Or can I just move on to something else? If you've ever wanted to up your photo game, the new camera coach mode, which you enable by tapping a little camera with a flash in the top right corner, can give you ideas and tips on making your photos better. Sometimes it's about framing, sometimes it's about focus and zoom. We got our first look at the new Pixel Watch 4, which makes some pretty compelling improvements over the original. Probably the most noticeable one is that the new domed display on this watch is bigger and brighter than what we got last year. So you get about 10% more surface area, the bezels are smaller, but more importantly, in my opinion, it's 50% brighter at 3,000 nits. So that should make this watch a lot more usable when you're out and about running, working out, whatever it is you're doing. And speaking of that, one of the marquee features this year is kind of AI-powered workout suggestions. So kind of as Google learns your routine, what you like to do, it'll suggest workouts along those lines. Really like the UI on this watch. It's got that new kind of Material 3 language we're seeing across the entire Pixel portfolio. It feels great to wear. Really, really nice display. But the number one thing that excites me about the Pixel Watch 4 is the new sideways charging stand. When you charge this watch, you're kind of plopping it onto the stand horizontally and it suddenly becomes a little mini clock or something you can put on your nightstand. I was a big fan of the Google Pixel Buds A when I tested them a few years back, so I'm very excited to be trying out the Pixel Buds 2A. This is the latest version of Google's budget earbuds. They are $130. One of the biggest things, you're finally getting ANC on an A-series earbuds. It's kind of becoming the standard these days. We've seen active noise cancellation on even the cheapest earbuds, so always happy to see more of it. Excited to see how it holds up to not only the Pixel Buds Pro, but just all the other ANC earbuds that we already love. It's got this new kind of twist to secure design. Gives you kind of more of a snug, more adjustable fit than what you got before. And one thing that I think is really neat, the battery in the charging case is replaceable. That's something I personally haven't seen at all in this space. You know, I think it goes a long way in terms of a product you can actually keep for a very long time. So kudos to Google for that. It's a Pixel product, so there's Gemini features, a lot of hands-free controls. You'll eventually be able to use features like Live Translate to have conversations with folks speaking out their languages. So a lot of what we've seen in previous Pixel Buds will be coming to the 2A. There you have it. This is everything Google announced at Made by Google 2025.
