A 35-year-old man, Cole Strohbush, was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Main Street in Watertown, Wisconsin. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m., when a pickup truck struck and dragged Strohbush before fleeing the scene. 

Police arrested a 54-year-old man in connection with the incident, charging him with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and hit-and-run causing death. Local businesses have begun collecting donations to support Strohbush's family, including his wife and three young children, as the investigation continues.

Good afternoon. I'm Ryan Jenkins. We begin today with some new information about a 35 year old man who was struck by a driver and killed in Watertown over the weekend. Our Kaylee star is joining us live right now with more on what she's learning about that victim and the ongoing police investigation. Kaylee Ryan, I spoke with the victim's wife just within the past hour or two. She tells me her husband, 35 year old Cole Strohbush was killed in this hit and find. And as you can imagine, she's absolutely devastated just before the holidays. I want to show you now a photo that she shared with us just this morning. This is Cole pictured with with their three kids, just ages 64 in one. Watertown police say this will happen around 12 30 sunday morning here on Main Street. They say a pickup truck hit strohbush and dragged him blocks down the street before fleeing. Strohbush ultimately died from his injuries. Later that day, police tracked the driver of the truck back to his home. The 54 year old man was arrested and charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and hit and run causing death, according to police. Now we know that they are still investigating. Meanwhile, we know businesses here in Watertown are stepping up to help this family. You can see just over my street over sorry, over my shoulder here. We have six on main.
