Williams was not previously known to security services or counter-terrorism police. A rail worker who intervened remains in critical condition, and authorities have confirmed the incidents are not being treated as terror-related. Williams is scheduled to appear in court again in December.

A rail worker who heroically intervened remains critical in hospital. There's no doubt that their collective action, their brave action, saved countless lives.
