He says that some people have been using Palestine Solidarity demos to call for the murder of Jewish people, though he doesn't actually provide any examples of where or when this took place, but the argument is clear, he is linking protesting for Palestine, particularly on October the 7th, with anti-Semitism, and that's something we've heard from student Jewish groups as well, who say that this day, October the 7th, should be left for Jewish people to mourn. It's a different view, of course, you hear from the people here. I don't think Keir Starmer really understands the issue, I don't think it's anti-Semitism to show up. We're showing up for Jews, for Muslims, for Christians, we're showing up for everyone today, and I think to make it a story about anti-Semitism is where Keir Starmer just has completely missed the nail on the head. I mean, as far as I'm aware, genocide is the worst possible crime that anyone can commit, and as long as the genocide is still going on, then I think any day is appropriate to this view, and I'm sure that you'll find Jewish members among the crowd here today. I've met more Jewish people on these demonstrations than I've met in my entire life before October the 20th, 2013. It's less than a week since an attack on a synagogue in Manchester kills two people. You are police in the southern English town of Peacehaven, and investigating an arson attack on a mosque there as a possible hate crime. So, whether we're talking about anti-Semitism or Islamophobia, there is a sense that racial tensions in the UK are rising, and the war in Gaza, it's very difficult to unpick that from this.
