The deputy attorney general interviewed his former girlfriend and accomplice, Galen Maxwell, for two days last week. And some wonder whether she's looking to cut a deal in exchange for what she knows. We don't know how it's going to play out. We just know that this was the first opportunity she's ever been given to answer questions about what happened. I'm allowed to give her a pardon, but nobody's approached me with it. Nobody's asked me about it. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for helping Epstein abuse underage girls. And other GOP lawmakers don't want to entertain a pardon. I think 20 years was a pittance. I think she should have a life sentence at least. Galen Maxwell is appealing her conviction at the Supreme Court, and believes she should have never been prosecuted because Epstein made a plea deal in 2008 to protect his co-conspirators.
