Questions persist regarding whether Hamas will disarm, how Gaza will be governed, and how the estimated $53 billion needed for reconstruction will be raised. President Trump stated that several wealthy nations have expressed willingness to assist in rebuilding Gaza, but concrete plans have not yet been detailed.

In Sharm el-Sheikh, Trump, along with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, signed the Trump Peace Agreement, opening a new chapter for the region defined by hope, security and a shared vision for peace and prosperity. Together we've achieved what everybody said was impossible. At long last we have peace in the Middle East. The president met with heads of state and diplomats from three dozen countries who showered him with praise. Peace has been achieved after untiring efforts, efforts led by President Trump. But the road to longstanding peace is a long one, as many questions remain. Will Hamas give up all its weapons? How will Gaza be governed? And where will the cash to rebuild it come from? Regional experts expect it will cost $53 billion. I'm pleased to announce that numerous countries of great wealth and power and dignity have come forward to me just today and over the last week to say they want to help in the reconstruction of Gaza.
