Tropical Storm Lorenzo is poorly organized, but it is expected to hold its intensity over the next few days before weakening. Lorenzo is forecast to move north and then east, remaining out in the open Atlantic.

Tropical Storm Lorenzo is being tracked as it moves northwest at approximately 15 miles per hour, with a central pressure of 1,000 millibars, indicating it is not particularly strong. Forecast models suggest Lorenzo will follow a looping path and weaken as it moves north, with some models predicting dissipation sooner than others.

Attention is also being given to a new weather wave coming off the coast, which is expected to move westward. While previous model runs suggested the possibility of tropical storm or hurricane development, current guidance does not indicate significant strengthening. Meteorologists continue to monitor both systems for any changes.

Go right around in a circle. Google doesn't do much with it. It actually weakens it long before the hurricane center. It's already done with it by time it gets to the north. So we'll see. All right, really one of the most interesting things is this new wave, which is coming off the coast. And it's going to stay under the radar, if you will. But it's going to continue to move to the west. Let's watch it. That's Lorenzo right there. This is the European model. Now yesterday, this looked a lot better. OK, here it is coming into the islands as we get into the weekend, goes into the Caribbean Sea. Then it slows down a little bit. And it slows down getting into here we are all the way to the 22nd. But the guidance doesn't do anything with it today. It was creating a tropical storm and even a hurricane yesterday down through here.
