Christmas is a few days away and if you haven't finished your holiday shopping yet we've got some ideas for the techies on your list. From Apple and Nintendo to GoPro and more, tech site Mashable compiled its ultimate tech gift guide for 2025. But thank you so much for being here. So Timothy, which gadgets of the tech variety top the list? I'd say this year it's got to be the Nintendo Switch too. It was probably one of if not the biggest gadgets released this year. People have been waiting years for it and what's cool about that one of course is that it's really fun for all ages. I mean I know people with kids who love it. I know kids who are asking Santa for it and I know you know plenty of people without kids in their 20s, 30s and beyond who have been playing it for months. So it's really a crowd pleaser this year. You know you think about buying someone tech and then you realize oh you need that accessory and you need that and you need that you need that wire or whatever it is. What is your advice to people who are trying to keep that price tag a little lower? Yeah in that case I'd say something like headphones or smart watches are a good bet. I mean there really aren't any extra accessories that you need and there are tons of good options in those categories that have come out this year. So if you're looking for headphones or earbuds, Apple has the new AirPods Pro 3. I mean that's going to be an easy no-brainer gift for most Apple users but you could also get you know the Bose headphones that came out this year, the Sony headphones that came out this year. There's really you know tons of great choices. My personal favorite in this category the Panasonic Technics AZ100. They're under the radar but they're the best sounding earbuds you can get and then in smart watches you know again got to go back to Apple. You've got the Apple Watch Series 11. You've got the Google Pixel Watch 4. There's tons of good options and you don't need a ton of extra add-ins. You don't have to buy more and more and more to go along with it. So I'd say those are pretty safe bets. There's tons of you know great great products like that. The Aura Ring 4 is a smart ring. That's another really popular one. So yeah there's tons of good choices this year. Really a lot of good options. What are you most looking forward to next year? Oh next year I gotta say I was a little unimpressed by the laptops released this year. I mean Apple released a new one and it's good but it's just like the one last year. So I'm excited to see what new laptops come out and then there's a lot of exciting things happening in the virtual reality space. So smart glasses, virtual reality headsets. I'm excited we have the Consumer Electronics Show coming up in a couple weeks where we expect to see a lot of those new gadgets make their debut.
