The highly anticipated A-League match between Sydney FC and Auckland has been postponed after the pitch at Leichhardt Oval was deemed unfit for play, following damage caused by a heatwave. The Sydney FC women vs RAW match has also been postponed for the same reason. 

As a result, Adelaide's doubleheader against the Wanderers will become the main fixture on Saturday. Brazilian import Anselmo is expected to bolster Adelaide's midfield as he regains full fitness, while the team also hopes Craig Goodwin can maintain his strong performance after his recent match-winning display against Perth.
