Jurors reached their verdict after three and a half days, with 11 out of 12 supporting the prosecution's case. Zayat, who appeared emotionless in court, maintains his innocence through his lawyer and is considering an appeal. He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 19.

That despite Ms Dokotaru telling some her injuries were caused by a car accident or tripping on a vacuum, it was a cover for Zayat's violence. Zayat appeared emotionless in the dock. Last Saturday I recorded my wife while she was on the ground and started drinking. She tripped over, she hit a high bar and she fractured her rib. How did Mrs Zayat react to the...?
