Whatever I play, I'm just trying to score runs and win games for my team, so don't get too fixated about that, but I understand the first four games will probably be important. His process includes aggression and he won't change it. Yeah I'm very lucky to have Andrew McDonald's full support and clarity as well, so I've been working really hard with him and Pat Cummins with what method works and for me it's just understanding when to do it. Cummins is battling his own issues in the form of a back injury. He's obviously got a few challenges ahead of him, I'm not sure the finer details but I know he'll be doing all he can to be there on day one. Next month's ODI series against India will see Mitchell Stark headline. That's sort of the prep that I've got for the summer is getting ready for that ODI series, start bowling next week and then five weeks of bowling leading to that. He's done with T20 internationals for good reason. I'm 35 and I've played three forms for a long time, so I want to, lack of a better term, milk my body as much as I can for Test cricket. It's always been the priority and will remain the priority. And he wants to make a run at the 2027 One Day World Cup. Having those conversations with Andrew and George, if I wasn't part of the plans for 27, ODI, I wasn't going to stand in someone's place.
