A rug show and sale in Park City, Utah, organized by the group Adopt a Native Elder, aims to support Navajo elders by selling traditional rugs and sharing Navajo culture with the wider community. The event, which is free to the public, channels 100% of the proceeds from rug sales directly to Navajo elders, many of whom face food insecurity and reduced government assistance.

The initiative began when organizer Linda Myers learned about the challenges facing indigenous people and started collecting and delivering essential items to Navajo families. Over time, the effort has grown, now serving 850 elders and partnering with local businesses to host the annual rug show, which also provides food cards to elders in need.
